Ensemble Openings for the 2024/25 Summer Auditions

Due to the high number of auditions received during the Spring Auditions, only the most qualified applicants will be accepted in the Summer Auditions. Submitting an audition does not guarantee a student a spot in the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra for the 2024/25 Season.

Beginning Strings

Summer auditions open for viola and double bass.

Summer auditions NOT open for violin & cello.

Intermediate Strings

Summer auditions open for viola and double bass.

Summer auditions NOT open for violin & cello.

Concert Band

Summer auditions open for all instruments.

Multiple openings available for oboe, bassoon, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, French horn, trombone, baritone, & percussion.

Limited openings available for flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, & trumpet.

Intermediate Orchestra

Summer auditions open for violin, viola, cello, double bass, oboe, clarinet, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, & percussion.

Summer auditions NOT open for flute/piccolo & bassoon.

Advanced Orchestra

Summer auditions open for violin, viola, cello, double bass, oboe, clarinet, French horn, trumpet, trombone, & tuba.

Summer auditions NOT open for flute/piccolo, bassoon, percussion, & harp.
