Rehearsals take place every Saturday at Calvary Lutheran Church. This central North County location provides a convenient and welcoming space for students and families.

All ensembles rehearse weekly on Saturdays throughout the season. Rehearsal times vary by level:
Advanced Orchestra: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Intermediate Orchestra: 1:00 PM – 2:45 PM
Concert Band: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Intermediate Strings: 11:10 AM – 12:45 PM
Beginning Strings: 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM
Suzuki Comets: 9:00 AM – 9:50 AM
Suzuki Stars: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM

Tuition for the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra ranges from $725 to $900 per student per season, depending on ensemble placement.

Students are expected to:
Follow the MMYO code of conduct and rehearsal guidelines
Maintain consistent attendance (maximum 4 excused or 2 unexcused absences per semester)
Arrive at least 15 minutes early and be fully prepared before rehearsal begins
Study with a private instructor (required for students above the Suzuki Stars level)
These expectations help ensure a high-quality and rewarding ensemble experience.

The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra season typically runs from September through May, aligning with the academic school year.

All ensembles perform in at least two concerts per season. Additional performance opportunities may be available for advanced and select groups.

We welcome students who play standard orchestral and band instruments, including strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
