PremierYouth Orchestra in San Diego

Led by experienced music educators, our youth orchestra program offers students the chance to collaborate with professional musicians from the Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra, helping young performers develop their skills, confidence, and lasting musical relationships.

The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra is a program of Mainly Mozart.

“From the very beginning, MMYO taught me to be a leader. "

Unparalleled Instruction

The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra is led by expert instructors with decades of teaching and performance experience. Students receive exceptional musical training while gaining the rare opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside professional musicians from the Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra—one of the nation’s premier gatherings of concertmasters and principal players.

Together, they create an inspiring environment where young musicians build technical skill, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.

Integrating Students of All Abilities and Backgrounds

At Mainly Mozart, we are committed to providing an inclusive music program where every student feels welcome and supported. We actively create opportunities for students of all abilities—including those with cognitive and physical differences—to participate, learn, and perform.

Through collaboration, personalized support, and a shared love of music, students grow in confidence, develop their skills, and become part of a diverse and supportive musical community.
