Students are required to audition for enrollment in all ensembles except Suzuki Stars. Please fill out the form below, and we will get back to you with audition/other information as soon as possible.

  • MMYO rehearsals take place every Saturday at Calvary Lutheran Church located at 424 Via De La Valle, Solana Beach, CA 92075.

  • Rehearsals take place every Saturday through the MMYO season.

    • Advanced Orchestra - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

    • Intermediate Orchestra - 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm

    • Concert Band - 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

    • Intermediate Strings - 11:10 pm - 12:45 pm

    • Prelude Strings - 10:00 am - 11:00 am

    • Mozart Comets - 9:00 am - 9:50 am

    • Mozart Stars - 9:30 am - 10:30 am

  • Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra tuition ranges from $875-$1,200 per student enrolled.

    • Students are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the MMYO guidebook.

    • Students above the Mozart Stars level are required to study their instrument with a private teacher.

    • Attendance is mandatory. Only 4 excused absences are permitted per semester.

    • Students must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the rehearsal time and be in their seats, warming up and ready to play prior to the start of rehearsal.

  • The MMYO season follows the school calendar. Typically September-May.

  • All ensembles perform in the Winter Showcase and Season Finale concerts. In addition, all ensembles perform a minimum of one outreach concert in the community.

  • Standard band and orchestral instruments. Please check the audition requirements for a full list of instruments served.
